Roadway Repairs Set to Begin Wednesday, Apr. 30 Along KY 58/Brewers Highway in Marshall County

PADUCAH, Ky. (Apr. 29, 2025) – Roadway repairs are scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30, at the 1.128-mile marker of KY 58/Brewers Highway in Marshall County.

A bridge approach was damaged during recent flooding events in February and April, and the roadway is currently closed approximately one mile east of the Graves-Marshall County Line.

The bridge will need to be replaced, and the project is scheduled for the August 2025 letting. This repair, however, will restore access for passenger vehicles until the roadway is closed again for construction of a new bridge.

The Marshall County Highway Maintenance Crew will carry out the upcoming repairs, which are expected to take about two weeks.

Once reopened, the existing bridge will have a posted 10-ton weight limit.
