Marshall County track and field hosted the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays on Monday. A unique meet that showcases relays such as the Sprint Medley to the Thrower’s Relay.
Marshall County’s boys team took first followed by McCracken County in second and Ballard Memorial third. The girls team placed third with the win going to McCracken and Ballard taking second.
New school records were set at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays. The boy’s 800 Sprint Medley Relay set a new time with 1:35.06 with team members Sam Morgan, Isaac Hodges, Cade Sorrells and Isaac Reynolds.
The boy’s 4×1600 Relay broke the old record by 20 seconds with a time of 19:07.86 with team members Kobey Yates, Owen Futrell, Daniel Walker and Levi Walker.
Deegan Croley was a triple winner in shot put, discus and javelin – setting another school record in the shot put with a throw of 59-03.
The girls 1600 Sprint Medley set a new school record in 4:35.59 with team members Allie Burkeen, Mia McGregor, Addison Peterson and Jessica Reed.
