Mickey Lee Hicks, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Ledbetter, Kentucky.

Mickey was born on March 13, 1961, in San Diego, California, to the late, Levi Edgar Hicks and Bertha Violet Hatfield Hicks.  A proud patriot, Mickey devoted many years of service to his country, retiring honorably from the U.S. Army before extending his commitment to the U.S. Navy. His passion for service was matched by his devotion to his faith as a steadfast member of High Point Pentecostal Church, where his absence will be deeply felt.

His zest for life was his love of fishing, playing games, and delving into a good book. Above all, his greatest joy was the cherished moments spent surrounded by his beloved family.

Mickey is survived by a son, Rodney Hicks of Clarksville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Silas Daniel Lee Hicks, Sparrow Sebastion Hicks and Soleil Moon Hicks; two sisters, Crystal Meade of Ledbetter, Kentucky and Lily Andrade (Manuel) of Hacienda Heights, California; two brothers, Gregory Hicks (Sharon) of Greenville, Kentucky and Eddie Hicks of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christina Lovvo Hicks; a sister, Patricia Dillard; a brother, Ace Lee Hicks.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at High Point Pentecostal Church with Pastor Doug Stevens officiating.
