
James Eddie Boggs, 91, of Paducah passed away at 12:25 AM on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Charter Senior Living in Hopkinsville, KY.
Mr. Boggs retired as a Communication Technician from Burlington Railroad, he was a Free Will Baptist Pastor and a Veteran of the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis Boggs of Paducah; one son, James Robert “Bob” Boggs of Akron, OH; two daughters, Sheila (Carl) Hawkins of Paducah, Karen (Chuck) Hamburg of Odin, IL; one brother, Danny (Shirley) Boggs of Oak Hill, OH; two sisters, Linda Swan of Oak Hill, OH, Hazel Reynolds of Olive Hill, KY; six grandchildren, James Hawkins, Joshua Hawkins, Sarah Boggs, Rebecca Farmer, Jacob Boggs, Jordon Moghadam; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Boggs and Jessie (Bryant) Boggs; one brother; three sisters; one granddaughter, Leesha Ann Moghadam.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia, IL with Carl Hawkins and James Robert Boggs officiating.
