The Lady Marshals improved their season record to 18-2 this week with a pair of shutout wins—3-0 over Graves County and a 17-0 victory against Murray High.
Allicen Harris delivered in the circle, tossing a no-hitter and racking up eight strikeouts. She also made her presence felt at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Her double in the bottom half of the first inning drove in Emma Reynolds, who had reached on a walk.
In the second inning, Trinlee Anderson extended the lead to 2-0, scoring on a groundout by Merriel Jackson. Anderson reached again in the fourth on another walk, and pinch runner Makenna Forwood came around to score the final run, sealing the 3-0 win.

Thursday’s dominant 17-0 shutout over Murray pushed the Lady Marshals to a perfect 3-0 district record.
Their 13 hits and 17 runs made for a quick outing against the Lady Tigers, wrapping up the district win in just three innings.
With two outs in the top of the first, the Lady Marshals jumped out to an early lead, plating three runs—highlighted by a two-run double from Trinlee Anderson.
The offense erupted in the second inning, scoring 10 runs. Allicen Harris delivered the big blow with a three-run homer, while RBI singles from Macy McLeod, Adley Poole, Merriel Jackson, and Mylie Tynes kept the momentum rolling. McLeod also added a two-run double to stretch the lead to 13-0.
Four more runs crossed the plate in the third, courtesy of an error, RBI singles by Jackson and Mackenzie Cunningham, and an RBI groundout from Tynes.
Lily Hayden earned the no-hitter in the circle while striking out four.
