Local Pickleball players compete at River City Classic in Owensboro

Winning Silver in Owensboro (L-R) Cannon Cornelius and Fahey in 4.5 Men’s, Cliff Grizzard and Jack Smith in 4.5 Men’s 60+ and Jason Bell and Jason Jones in 4.0 Men’s 50+.

Merchant Centre Court in Owensboro hosted 320 players at the River City Classic March 14-16.  This venue has become one of the larger favorite tournaments to attend, it’s within a 2-hour radius and played on 14 indoor courts and two championship courts against some great competition. Local players competed in Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles in 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0/Open Divisions.

Kayla Travis and Dayana Fahey – 5.0/Open Women’s Doubles
