The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Ballard County woman on prostitution and illegal drug charges Tuesday morning at a Paducah hotel.
In the past, the Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of websites being used to post prostitution ads. On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, a Sheriff’s detective, acting in an undercover capacity, contacted a woman who had posted a prostitution ad on one of the websites. The woman entered into an agreement with the detective for sexual services in exchange for money. As the investigation continued, detectives took the woman, identified as Jasmine D. Shackles, 25, of Wickliffe, KY, into custody just after 11:00AM at a hotel located on Cairo Road.
After Shackles’ arrest, she was found to be in possession of a small quantity of Cocaine and Marijuana.
Shackles was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
