
Members of Marshall County girls track and field team kicked off their 2025 season at The Games indoor meet at Centre College in Danville, Ky. on Saturday, Jan. 25. The team turned in 12 top 10 results including two first place finishes.
Mia McGregor won the long jump event with 14-02.50 and Addison Chamblee took first in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 11.21.
Addison Lyles placed second in the one mile run with a time of 5:23.68 which broke the school record she previously set.
Top five performances were also turned in by Chaney Travis with third in the 60 meters (8.72), Lily Hayes third in shot put (23-03) and Mia McGregor with fifth in the 200 meters (29.67).
Qualifiers from the team will compete again in Louisville at the Eastern Indoors on February 8.
