2025 Miracle Gala Raises Over $130,000 to Support the Miracle League of Western Kentucky

Benton, KY – The third annual Miracle Gala, held on January 25, 2025, was a night to remember, bringing together over 300 community members in celebration of inclusion, achievement, and hope. The event raised an incredible $130,000 to benefit the Miracle League of Western Kentucky, to aid in funding the addition of a new restroom and concessions facility at the beloved CFSB Field of Dreams.

Title sponsors for the annual event included CFSB, Moor’s Resort, Play Pros, DK Construction, and Hall Family Dental. In addition to the numerous supporting sponsors and auction sales, an astounding $25,000 donation was made by Doug and Rita Dotson on behalf of the Joe Tom Haltom Foundation.

The Miracle League provides children and adults with special needs the opportunity to participate in baseball, ensuring every athlete has the chance to play in an environment built for accessibility and joy. The funds raised at the Gala will help enhance the experience for players, families, and spectators alike, furthering the League’s mission of making sports inclusive for all.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Athlete of the Year Award to Max Armstrong (Son of Brad and Natalie Armstrong) of Lyon County, a standout Miracle League player known for his sportsmanship and dedication. Armstrong received a heartfelt surprise when his former classmate, Travis Perry of the Kentucky Wildcats, appeared via video to congratulate him on the honor. Perry’s message celebrated Armstrong’s achievements.

“Seeing the community rally together for such an important cause is always inspiring,” said Britney Moss, Director of the Miracle League of Western Kentucky. “The funds raised tonight will help us continue to make dreams a reality for our athletes and their families. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and supported our mission.”

The 2025 Miracle Gala was a testament to the power of community and the shared belief that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of sports. With the support of attendees and donors, the Miracle League of Western Kentucky is one step closer to enhancing the Field of Dreams for future seasons.
