Marshall County and Christian Fellowship met in their second district contest of the season at Reed Conder Gymnasium and the Marshals earned the sweep with a 70-42 win. They improve to 18-0 on the season and 4-0 in 4th District play. The loss drops the Eagles to 6-12.

At CFS on January 7, the Marshals held a slight 3-point lead at the end of the first quarter before pulling away from the Eagles in the second quarter. Tuesday’s first quarter played out very differently with the Marshals jumping out to a 9-0 lead before CFS got on the board on a basket by Samuel Grigg and finished out the quarter leading 32-9.

The 23-point lead was fueled by seven 3-pointers. Matthew Langhi drained two from behind the arc and Alex Staples, Neyland Jezik, Kaden Mohler, Tommy Robertson and Kyzer Phillips each had one.
