
Ty Redden signed on Wednesday at Marshall County High School with the Montevallo Fishing Team in Montevallo, Alabama. The Falcons, a dominant force in collegiate fishing, are four-time national champions and the defending 2024 national champions. Known for their competitive drive and sportsmanship, they continue to set the standard in collegiate fishing.
Ty has been a member of the Marshall County High School bass fishing team for six seasons. He boasts an impressive resume which includes a third place finish in the KHSAA Region One Tournament, two-time and reigning KHSAA Region One Champion, four-time KHSAA State Qualifier, four-time Student Angler Federation National Championship Qualifier and KHSAA Academic All-State honoree every year of eligibility.
Ty has demonstrated a commitment to community and sportsmanship, volunteering at fishing events with the Special Olympics and the West Kentucky Boat and Outdoor Show. A member of Benton Church of Christ, Ty balances a passion for fishing with a love of hunting, spending time with family and serving others.
The Marshall County High School bass fishing team thanks Ty for representing the school and team with excellence both on and off the water and look forward to seeing all that he will achieve as a Montevallo Falcon.
