Phil Darnell, age 70, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his residence.
Born on November 26, 1954 in Murray, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Anna Belle (Copeland) Darnell and the late Howard Darnell. He worked as an auto wholesaler. In his free time, he enjoyed playing music, guitar, singing, golfing, and fishing.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Jodie Cole, husband Bill, of Riverview, Michigan; beloved brother, Randall Darnell, wife Judy, of Brownstown, Michigan; sister, Cynthia Doty Darnell of Benton, Kentucky, and three loving grandchildren, Audrey Cole, Alivia Cole, and Billy Cole,
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James “Mike” Darnell.
Phil was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home.
Friends can visit with the family between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2024.
