Marshall County baseball held the 5th annual Build a Bed event with the Marshall County Bed Ministry. Members of the team built the beds at the baseball hitting barn on Wednesday and finished 10 beds for children in our community in need.
The vision of this ministry is to meet the physical needs of a bed and then try to meet a spiritual need by praying with the family and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Wednesday was an extra special event because it was the 2000th bed built through the Bed Ministry since its inception in 2013.
The Preston Cope Foundation has partnered with the Bed Ministry over the past five years to help finance and build beds for children in our community.
