On December 11, 2024, at approximately 02:13 am, McCracken County Deputies responded to the 2900 block of Geibe Road for a suspicious vehicle. It was reported a vehicle had driven off into a field. A resident of the area checked the vehicle and observed a female who appeared to be passed out behind the wheel. It was also reported an infant child was present in the car.
Deputy Prusaczyk arrived on scene and confirmed the female operator, later identified as Candyce Taylor, 33, of Paducah, appeared to be asleep in the driver’s seat. Deputy Prusaczyk also observed a 9-month-old child in a car seat.
