The Calvert City Public Works Department will begin its annual loose-leaf pickup service on November 11, 2024. This seasonal program provides residents with a convenient way to manage leaves while helping to keep city drains clear and functioning efficiently during the winter months. The final day for loose leaf collection is set for January 6, 2025, after which leaves will no longer be vacuumed and need to be bagged.
To simplify our route system, there will be two routes for leaf pickup. Route 1 will be for residents who have garbage pickup on Mondays and Thursdays. Route 2 will be for residents who have garbage pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays.
