Mr. Robert “Bobby” Brown, age 77, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was a 1965 Mayfield High School graduate and a member of the Cardinal football team. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with his Juris Doctorate. He practiced law in Mayfield for over 40 years.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Diana Gill Brown; one stepson, Matthew T. (Renee) Whitehead of Columbia, TN; one daughter, Danyel (Dwayne) Bailey of Durham, NC; two brothers, William (Bitsy) Brown and John Travis (Carmel) Brown, Jr. both of Mayfield, KY; and eight grandchildren, Jaden Whitehead, Loren Whitehead, Hannah Whitehead, Tierney Bailey, Micah Bailey, Delaney Bailey, McKenzie Baum and Matthew Baum.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Brown; one stepdaughter, Pamela Whitehead; and his parents, John Travis and Ruth Carr Brown.
A memorial visitation for Mr. Robert “Bobby” Brown will be 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
