
Marshall County volleyball celebrated Senior Night on Thursday in their final regular season game against Community Christian. In the first match this season, the Lady Marshals beat CCA 3-1 but the Lady Warriors avenged that result with a 3-1 win on Thursday.
The Lady Marshals wrap up the regular season with a record of 13-5 and a perfect 6-0 against district opponents. With the #1 seed in the 4th District tournament that they will host, Marshall County will play Christian Fellowship on Monday at 5:30. The second semifinal between Murray and Calloway County will follow.
Marshall County took set one 25-15 but CCA won the next three by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-23. The Lady Warriors (19-6) will finish up their regular season tonight against Hickman County and will play Paducah Tilghman on Monday in the 2nd District tournament.
Olivia Hawkins led the Lady Marshals in kills with 13 and Catherine Shelton had five. Emma Reynolds had 18 assist and 22 digs. Maleah Terry had 23 digs and Nora Clark had two aces.
