She volunteered for many years with the hospital auxiliary at Jackson Purchase Medical Center and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Swatzell is survived by her husband, Donald Lynn Swatzell; one son, Chris (Jennifer) Swatzell of Murray, KY; two brothers, Jim (Shann) Moore of Mayfield, KY and Richard Moore of Farmington, KY; and four grandchildren, Bryce Peal of Clarksville, TN, Brooklyn Swatzell of Murray, KY, Elizabeth Swatzell of Murray, KY and Grayson Swatzell of Murray, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Luverne Waggoner Moore.
Graveside services for Mrs. Donna Moore Swatzell will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Brett Miles will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
