Calvert City, KY (October 01, 2024) – On September 23, 2024 an officer responded to the Family Dollar for a shoplifting complaint that occurred the previous day. Video of the theft was viewed and the subject was later identified. Jennifer Mae Heflin, 49, of , Calvert City was cited on September 26, 2024 for TBUT/Shoplifting. She was also served a Marshall County Criminal Summons from 2016 for TBUT/Controlled Substance under $10,000.
On September 26, 2024 an officer responded to the KDV New Beach area for a domestic complaint, in which one person had already left the scene. After further investigation, Gabrielle R. Dykes, 36, of Calvert City was cited for assault 4th degree (domestic violence) no visible injury.
On September 26, 2024 an officer drove up on a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 near Love’s. After speaking to all involved parties, Keith M. Edwards, 51, of Gilbertsville was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st offense.
On September 29, 2024 an officer was met at the police department by a subject that advised he had an active summons that needed to be served. Joe Don Smith, 37, of Calvert City was served a Marshall County Criminal Summons for criminal mischief – residential rental property 1st degree.
