Marshals open 2024 season with 10-0 shutout over St. Mary

The Marshals opened their 2024 soccer season at St. Mary on Tuesday and earned a 10-0 shutout over the Vikings.

Their 10 goals were spread among six different players, led by Houston Johnson with three. Tommy Robertson and Maddox Schroader had two each and Isaac Reynolds, Kyler Hathcock and Trent Jackson each had one goal. Reynolds led in assists with three. Goalkeeper Carson Lovett earned the shutout.

Thursday will be the first home game of the season when the Marshals host Mayfield in a district double-header. The boys take the field first at 5:30 followed by the Lady Marshals.
