Two Individuals Arrested During Theft Investigation

On 07/23/2024 McCracken County deputies were dispatched to a local business located in the 4000 block of Clarks River Road, Paducah KY for a reported theft.

Once on scene, deputies learned that a suspect had driven up to the property on a modified go-cart and cut multiple copper wires from a breaker box. The box was damaged during the theft.

At approximately 2354 hours, deputies were dispatched to the Five Star on Clarks River Road. It was reported that the go-cart and the male matching the description was currently on the property. Deputies responded to the Five Star and identified the male as Jason C. Peace of Paducah KY.

Through investigation, it was determined that Peace had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. During the search, deputies located a glass smoking pipe containing methamphetamine. Peace was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 07/24/2024 detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at Mr. Peace’s residence.

During the execution of the search warrant, Kimberly Humphrey, of Eddyville KY was located.

Detectives recovered the stolen copper wire, and small quantity of methamphetamine. Humphrey was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

ARRESTED:

Jason C. Peace 50 years old of Paducah, KY

Charges: TBUT Or Disp All Others $1,000 < $10,000, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine, and two Probation Violation Warrants.

Kimberly A. Humphrey 49 years old of Eddyville, KY

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 3rd Or > Offense, and Drug Paraphernalia
