
Deputies worked through the day and night investigating these cases. A BOLO was put out for the truck and trailer seen in this post and it was located in Livingston County by Sheriff’s Deputies. Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Lyon County Sheriff’s Deputies and members of the Western KY Violent Crime Task Force continued to investigate throughout the evening and early morning hours.
Working together, they executed multiple search warrants in Livingston County which resulted in the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen property which successfully cleared two Lyon County burglaries and two thefts. In addition, this investigation also resulted in the recovery of stolen property from a theft case which was reported over 10-years ago involving two Lyon County victims.
Deputy Josh Travis arrested and charged Billy Dismore (49) of Grand Rivers with the following offenses:
Burglary – 3rd Degree
Burglary – 3rd Degree
Theft by Unlawful Taking ($1,000-$10,000)
Theft by Unlawful Taking ($1,000-$10,000)
Deputy Josh Travis is leading the investigation. He was assisted by Deputy David Carroll, Chief Deputy Sam Adams, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, KY Division of Probation & Parole, and the Western KY Violent Crime Task Force. Additional charges are pending.
