Mrs. Laura McClure Copeland, age 87, of Cuba, KY passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Cuba Baptist Church and a retired employee of Westlake Chemical.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by her husband, Harold T. Copeland; one son, Lane (Tess) Copeland of Cuba, KY; one daughter, Lisa (Dana) Ballard of Houston, TX; two sisters, Mary Bearden of Murfreesboro, TN and Rosa Reed of Symsonia, KY; seven grandchildren, Anthony Ballard, Miranda Serra, Lance Copeland, Lana Copeland, Brittany McClure, Hunter Scott and Morgan Scott; three great grandchildren, Clint Ballard, Aubrey McClure and Hayden Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny McClure and her parents, Edwin and Myrtle Wood McClure.
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura McClure Copeland will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Bro. Vinnie Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow at Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
