Harolyn was a woman of many passions, including traveling to new places, seeking out the perfect shopping deals, and watching the hummingbirds flock to a garden her friends and family built for her. In her youth, she loved to fish and camp. She was an ardent Elvis fan and found immense joy in sharing her love for his music. Harolyn was particularly close with her nearby neighbors, whom she communicated with on the phone frequently. She was active in supporting and participating in the Relay for Life. Above all, she loved praising her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and cherishing moments spent with her family.
Harolyn went through many trials and tribulations during her life, which molded her into becoming a self-sacrificing single parent. Through her many illnesses and the loss of her husbands, Harolyn remained steadfast in Jesus Christ.
