
Carol Ann Garner Wyatt, 86, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024 and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
She was born Carol Ann Garner, March 1, 1938 to LE and Ruth Garner in West Helena, Arkansas.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Wyatt, parents, LE and Ruth Garner, sister, Norma Jean Dunn, and nephew, Jeffery Dunn.
She leaves behind her daughter, Dara Wyatt Botts (Steve), sons, James David Wyatt (Santra), Jonathan Dane Wyatt (Joanna), grandchildren, Jason Wyatt, Levi Wyatt, Alex Botts, Beth Botts Barnes, Meagan Wyatt Burdett, step-grandchildren, Jeffery and Billy Burton. Carol had sixteen great-grandchildren, nephews, Steve Dunn and Andy Dunn. She also leaves behind her dearest friend, Patty Corts with whom she nursed for many years.
Carol spent her life helping others in her 40+ years of nursing. She retired in 2000 from Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Carol was a past member of Briensburg Church of Christ and the Lascassas Church of Christ where she attended until March of this year.
A very special thank you to Calvert Convalescent Center staff for their exceptional care of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol. Thank you Dr. Perez for your attention to her healthcare needs. Also thank you to Lourdes Hospital staff and physicians for her care there. Thank you Alive Hospice for keeping her comfortable and peaceful.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Benton Cemetery with Gary Clark officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
