
Mary Ann Davis, affectionately known as Ann to her friends and Mammy to loved ones, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, in West Paducah, Kentucky. Born on July 1, 1940, to the late William Glenn Adams and Mary Antha Kerns Adams, Ann’s spunky spirit touched many lives throughout her 83 years.
Ann was a lifetime member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was an avid UK basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan. A respected member of the Eastern Star, Ann’s commitment to service and fellowship was evident in the way she lived her life. Ann’s love for her family, especially her great grandkids, was unmatched.
Ann is survived by two daughters, Mischelle Mitchell (Stanley) and Sandy Hampleman both of West Paducah; two grandchildren, Marisa Brown (Corey) and Travis Peeler (Sarah) both of West Paducah; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Brown, Aiden Brown, and Kylie Peeler; a close family friend, Jerri King; a brother, Billy Adams (Annette) of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Jess W. Davis; a sister, Kay Goad; a brother, Joe Adams; and her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Curtis Creason officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
