Collision on Blandville Rd

On April 7th 2024, Deputies of the McCracken County Sheriffs Office investigated a collision that resulted in criminal charges for a Missouri man.

On April 7th 2024, Deputies responded to the area of the Blandville and Childress Rd for a single vehicle collision with injuries. The investigation showed a 2013 Red Ford Pickup driven by a man from Missouri was traveling east on Blandville Rd. The truck failed to maintain his lane of travel and nearly hit an oncoming vehicle before losing control and striking a Canadian National Railway bridge pilar. The operator was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation it was discovered that the operator was under the influence and taken into custody upon release from the hospital.

He was charged with the following: Criminal Mischief 1st, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence.
