On April 5, 2024 deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 80E in Murray for traffic violations. The driver, Joey L. Duncan, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility. He pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense in Calloway County in 2021.

On March 29, 2024, at approximately 7:00pm deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 641N in Murray. It was found that the driver had multiple bench warrants out of McClean, Daviess and Muhlenberg counties. She was also found to possess illicit drugs. On Mar 29, 2024, at approximately 4:00am deputies observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on S. 12th Street in Murray. The driver, Joshua Corn, failed to stop when emergency equipment was activated. Corn continued at a high rate of speed through multiple intersections, disregarding traffic control devises putting the community, and deputies at risk of serious injury. Due to North 4th Street being blocked because of construction, he pulled into a parking lot traveling over several curbs causing him to go airborne and come to a stop. Corn then fled on foot a short distance until he was taken into custody. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.

On March 27, 2024, just after midnight, deputies took Derek A. Brashears into custody at his home after a Calloway County arrest warrant had been issued the previous day. The victim of the previous day’s incident stated that Brashears, whom she knew, had entered her home without permission in the night. She woke, they went outside, and a verbal argument ensued. He then broke her cell phone and left prior to the deputies’ arrival. Attempts were made to contact Brashears but were unsuccessful, so a warrant was issued. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.

Upon locating Starks they found him to be in possession of illicit drugs. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.
