Mr. Lewis was a retired Federal Aviation Administrator, a member of Christian Fellowship, and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Lewis of Paducah; two sons, Jim (Deborah) Lewis of Benton, KY; John (Ginny) Lewis of Morehead, KY; two daughters, Tricia (Barry) Pottinger of Lake Waynoka, OH, Nancy (Jim) Davis of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Katherine (Gaylord) Bewley of Monument, CO; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Edward Lewis and Pauline Hester (Crabtree) Lewis; one brother, Donnie Lewis; one son, Harry Limerick.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Richie Clendenen officiating. Burial will follow at Dixion Cemetery in Grand Rivers, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
