Richard Howard Crenshaw, age 86, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:28 A.M. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his home.

 

Richard was born in Paducah on Tuesday, July 6, 1937 to Carlos and Lovie Crenshaw. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was employed as a skilled Electrician working out of IBEW Local 816. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #127 for 50  plus years and Rizpah Shriners out of Madisonville, Kentucky for 42 years. He was Commandant of units and also was very active in all the other appendent bodies .He was considered a great brother and noble ,and member of Heartland Church.

 

Mr. Crenshaw is survived by his soul mate, Jaunita Hayes; his daughter, Lucinda Marie Barnett (Terry) of Cadiz, Kentucky; his son, Timmy Ray Crenshaw of Paducah Trida Lowery of Paducah , his sisters, Patsy Marie Parker, Charlene Lindsey, Glenda Gayle Rothrock all of Paducah, and Dorothy Nell Jones of Smithland, Kentucky; his brothers, Benny Joe Crenshaw, Jimmy C. Crenshaw and Ricky Dean Crenshaw all of Paducah; his grandchildren, Amanda Fawn, Timberly Rae Ruch (Dayton), Hannah Marie Perkins (Zach) and Derek Englert (Shannon); his step grandchildren, Russ (Bonnie) and Jill; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Bailey, Sylvie, J.D., Bryce and Lottie.

 

Mr. Crenshaw was preceded in death by his first wife, Fairy Mae Fletcher Crenshaw, his second wife, LaRue Shekell Censhaw; his daughter, Rue Jan Jerquine; his foster son, Roger Vaughn; his parents, Carlos W. Crenshaw and Lovie Mae Madden Crenshaw; his sisters, Wilma Jean Parker and Bessie Mae Stewart; his brothers, Billy N. Crenshaw, J.B. Crenshaw, Ronnie Lynn Crenshaw and Jackie Crenshaw; his great grandson, Colton.

 

A graveside funeral service with military honors is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Joyce officiating.

 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, March 11, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Masonic Rites beginning at 5:00 P.M.
