Bob Noxon, 81 of Benton, Kentucky, formerly of St. George, Utah passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at his residence.
Bob was born in Gibson City, Illinois on March 11, 1942 to the late Robert Noxon, and Vera Reynolds Noxon. He worked as a divisional claims superintendent for State Farm Insurance. In his younger days, Bob enjoyed showing and riding horses. He loved spending time working in his workshop and piddling around the yard and driving his tractor.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Noxon, wife Michele; daughter, Katrina Gamueda-Smith; and his longtime companion, Dana Benson.
After moving to Kentucky, Bob received tremendous love and support from his nieces and nephews and friends in the area.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Noxon and Paul “Butch” Noxon; two sisters, Shirley Irene Moryl and Claudette “Kay” Karr; and his parents.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Mike McManus officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
