Michael Gong, 70, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was born on July 30, 1953 in Dos Palos, California to the late Gee and Mae Gong. Michael was employed with Shimmick Construction Company where he was a Erecting Engineer and Superintendent.
He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Bachuss and husband, Jeremy of Paducah, Kentucky; son, Kevin Gong and wife, Jessica of Fancy Farm, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Lakyn, Olivia, Vada, Chandler, Ella and Xavier; sister, Linda Austin and husband, Bruce of Los Angeles, California; brother, Terry Gong and wife, Linda of Moraga, California; sister-in-law, Betty Gong of Morro Bay, California.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Grant Gong; grandson, Conner; two brothers, Johnny Gong and Peter Gong and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
