Section between 0 and 1mm in Hickman County awaiting repairs
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is alerting motorists to a section of rough pavement along KY 239 just north of the HIckman-Fulton County Line.
Signage has been placed along a section of KY 239 between the 0 and the 1 mile marker in southern Hickman County where the pavement has deteriorated due to the recent round of freezing and thawing.
Motorists should heed the signage and snow down in this area as appropriate caution is required.
A contractor plans to be at the site in about two weeks to start repairs as soon as work is completed on another project.
KYTC District 1 will provide an update once the contractor has a firm start date for a work zone at this location.
