Work zone for construction of new traffic signal to be rescheduled
PADUCAH, Ky. (January 31, 2023) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has removed a work zone restriction along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County.
The work zone along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road at mile point 7.141 at the new intersection with KY 1286/North Friendship Road and Lakeview Drive will be rescheduled at a later date.
A sub-contractor started work Monday to install a new traffic signal at the intersection. However, some supply line issues will require the work to be postponed to a later date.
The contractor and KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely notice when construction of the new traffic signal resumes.
