
Gwen Fisk Bell, 89, of Benton, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Marshall County Hospital.
Gwen was born in Marshall County on May 17, 1934 to the late Colvin Fisk and the late Esther Smith Fisk. She was a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Gwen was a devote Christian and was passionate about sharing her love for the Lord with everyone she could. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Shoulta (Marc) of Symsonia; one son, Frankie Bell of Paducah; one sister, Sharon Watkins (Gene) of Benton; two brothers, Dwain Fisk (Betty) of Benton and Lanny Fisk (Ellen) of Benton; eight grandchildren, Crissy Courtney, Kurt Bell, Kinsey Powers, Emily Lolchoki, Jillian Bell, Adam Morton, Abby Ford, Alec Shoulta and Eli Morton; as well as several great grandchildren.
Gwen was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Bell; second husband, Billy Warford; one daughter, Charlotte Bell; three brothers, Bob Fisk, Marshall Fisk, and Sammy Fisk.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Penick officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on January 28, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
