Mr. McDaniel was a Maintenance Supervisor at Martin Marietta, a Veteran of the Navy during WWII, a member and a Deacon of Oaklawn Baptist Church and a member of American Legion Post 31 of Paducah.
He is survived by his son, David (Teresa) McDaniel of Nashville; one stepson, Mike (Milly) Davis of Paducah; two daughters, Camilla (Eddie) Box of Paducah, Karen (Jack) Jackson of Murray; five grandchildren, Mary Catherine (Darren) Patty, Drew Wooldridge, Clare McDaniel, Russ (Jordyn) McDaniel, May McDaniel; two step grandchildren, Jill (Justin) Vessels, Clay Davis; one great granddaughter, Henley McDaniel; two step great grandsons, Davis Vessels, Grey Vessels; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Hicks) McDaniel; second wife, Delilah (Davis) McDaniel; parents, William Carmen McDaniel and Treva (Smith) Washer; one brother, Wayne McDaniel; one sister, Evelyn Wilkins.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Tommy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Wadesboro Cemetery in Hardin.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
