
Charles was a member of the High Point Baptist Church and served his Lord and his community and will be missed. Charles was one of the first co-owners of the Plaza Barber shop, where he worked for many years before acquiring the Sears/Western Auto store in Mayfield. He also served as Graves County Commissioner for six terms before retiring. Charles was an avid fan of Mayfield Cardinals football, Kentucky basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Mr. Reeves is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Henson Reeves; two sons, Randy (Jen) Reeves of Columbia, MO and Barry (Jenn) Reeves of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Larry (Anita) Reeves and Kenneth Reeves; one sister, Linda Reeves (Larry) Hicks; five grandchildren, Cameron, Jordan, Colin, Camden and Addison; two step-children, Greg (Tracey) Henson and Elizabeth (Joe) Samuel; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Reeves, Albert Reeves and Goble Reeves; his first wife, Jone Wilkins Reeves; and his parents, Dennis and Nancy Hale Reeves.
Memorial services for Mr. Charles Edward Reeves will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the funeral home.
