Lady Eagles fall in All “A” Classic to Fulton County

Christian Fellowship freshman Jenna Neal scored nine points and was 5-of-6 at the free throw line in the Lady Eagles First Region All “A” Classic loss to Fulton County.

Christian Fellowship’s Lady Eagles began play in the First Region All “A” Classic on Tuesday where their tournament hopes came to an end with a 60-52 loss to Fulton County. The eight-point loss was a big improvement over their first loss of the season to Fulton County on December 1 when they lost 60-36.

The Lady Eagles were led by Gracie Howard with 31 points that included four three pointers. Howard also led in rebounding with 10. Howard is currently the top ranked scorer in the state with an average of 31.2 points per game.

Fulton County’s JaMesha Brown scored 38 of the Lady Pilots 60 points. Fulton County advances to play Carlisle County on Friday in the All “A” Classic semi-finals.

CFS will play Community Christian Academy on Friday at 6:00 in a double header with the Eagles.
