On Jan 7, 2024, at approximately 2:00pm deputies arrested the below listed suspect on Creekside Lane in Murray on a warrant. It is believed that illicit drugs that were found in an investigation that took place the day before belonged to him. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility on the below listed charges.

On Jan 7, 2023 at approximately 2:00am deputies conducted a traffic stop on S. 4th Street in Murray. The driver was found to be in possession of illicit drugs. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility on the below listed charges.

The Murray Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with locating Deon Howard (28) of Murray, KY. Howard is currently wanted for the following charges:
• Attempted Murder (3 Counts)
• Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
• Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence)
• Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon
• 2 Counts of Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree
• Trafficking in Marijuana (8 Ounces to 5 Pounds)
Deon Howard is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If you see him, do not attempt to make contact with him, but rather contact the Murray Police Department at 270-753-1621 or your local law enforcement agency. Howard is described as being a black male, weighing 150 pounds, and is 5’11.”
