The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Tennessee man on drug trafficking charges Wednesday afternoon at a Paducah hotel.
On 01/03/2024 the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received information alleging that 36-year-old Coty Owens of Dickson, TN was traveling to Paducah to deliver a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine.
Detectives located Owens just after 2pm at gas station located at 5104 Cairo Road in Paducah. Owens was found to be in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and was placed under arrest.
Detectives then executed a search warrant at Owens’ hotel room nearby at 5125 Cairo Road where they located additional Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. In total detectives seized 147 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.
Owens was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
