Marchita Lynn Bartlett Sutton, age 75, of Antioch, Tennessee, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her home.
Marchita was born in Paducah on Tuesday, December 28, 1948 to William and Rosella Bartlett. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and gardening, and was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She retired as a nurse after 43 years with Baptist Health Paducah, where she helped establish the 24/7 Baptist Health Paducah Health Line.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her daughter, Lorie Collins (Geoff) of Antioch; her step-sons, James Sutton (TyAnn) of Paducah and John Sutton (Tonya) of Gage, Kentucky; her sister, Gail McNichols (Wayne) of Paducah; her brothers, Wade Bartlett (Carolyn) of Farmington, Virginia, Paul Bartlett and Keith Bartlett, both of Paducah; her grandchildren, David, Evelyn, William, Kayla, Tyler, Jackson, Jase and Teagan.
Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her first husband, David Sutton; her second husband, C.L. Sutton; her parents, William Carl Bartlett and Rosella Francis Thornton Bartlett.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Susan Engle Carrington officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the funeral home.
