Robert “Rob” Wagers, 51 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at his home.
Robert was born in Gary, Indiana on July 19, 1972 to the late Billy Wagers and Lora Partain Wagers. He worked as a salesman for Lee Company in Franklin, Tennessee before moving to the lakes area in Kentucky. Rob was the proud founder and former owner of Boss Hoggs Bar & Grill. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, riding ATV’s, side by sides and his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by two sons, Deven Wagers and Connor Wagers, both of Benton; one brother, Billy Wagers and wife, Sarah of Louisville; one sister, Melony Rodriguez of Paducah; and step-daughter, Cedar King of Farmington, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
