Mrs. Wanda J. Garland, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Passion and Purpose Homecare Assisted Living in Almo, Kentucky.
Mrs. Garland was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 2, 1948. She retired from Briggs and Stratton.
Mrs. Garland was preceded in death by her father, Rudy Duncan; mother, Hazel (Buchanan) Duncan Fulton; stepfather, John Fulton; her husband, Dickie Garland, who passed away on January 26, 2022; and a brother-in-law, Charles A. Peeler.
Mrs. Garland is survived by her two sons, Timothy L. Garland and wife Sheila and Kevin W. Garland all of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Annita Peeler of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one brother, Mike Duncan and wife Jenny of Farmington, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Dale Taylor will officiate, and burial will follow in the Russell Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
