FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 18, 2023) – In accordance with a proclamation from the White House, Gov. Andy Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor of former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor from sunrise until sunset on Tuesday, Dec. 19. The first woman appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court, O’Connor died on Dec. 1 at the age of 93.
