Calvert City Pickleball players went to Carbondale, Ill. to participate in the Saluki Indoor Pickleball Tournament December 16-17. It was held at the SIU Student Recreation Center on nine courts. With 86 entries over two days, 19 players from far Western Kentucky brought home 16 medals – 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. This was a tournament only a couple hours away and for some of our players this was their first ever tournament and they brought home the hardware.
