Barbara Hearell, 87, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.
Barbara was born on September 8, 1936 to the late Wallace Lee Howell and Ernestine Flanary Howell in Livingston County, Kentucky. Barbara was a homemaker who loved and cherished her husband and was known to be a meticulous housekeeper and an excellent cook. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, but especially loved working in her flower gardens. She was a member of Hamlet Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Hearell of Aurora, Kentucky; one son, Randy Hearell (Vickey) of Symsonia, Kentucky; one sister, Jaunita Rowland (Larry); three brothers, Herbert Howell (Anita), Malcolm Howell and Alvin Howell; three grandsons, Russell Fish, Chris Antonites, and Nathan Antonites; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Carl Hearell; her first husband, Orville Walker; her son, Stevie Walker; two sisters, Janice Howell Brown and Becky Smith; three brothers, Ernest Howell, Dwight “Ike” Howell, and Hubert Howell; two sisters-in-law, Jan Howell and Dorothy “Dot” Howell; and two brothers-in-law, James Brown and Kelsey Smith.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on December 20, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Johnny Coffenberry officiating. Burial will follow at Dixon Cemetery.
