Clara Nel Dillinger, age 89, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday morning, December 12, 2023 at her home.
Clara was born on Thursday, April 19, 1934 in McLeansboro, Illinois to Leslie and Lelia Donelson. Clara was a stay-at-home mother to her two daughters, provided daily loving childcare for her granddaughter, and was caregiver to her late husband for many years. She was a member of Paducah First Baptist Church and the Chapel Bible Class. She was a Duchess of Paducah.
Mrs. Dillinger is survived by her daughters, Tina Walker (Greg) of Paducah and Dita Ann Gardner (Randy) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; her sister, Kathryn Lakin of McLeansboro; and her granddaughter, Morgan Walker.
Mrs. Dillinger was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Edward Dillinger; her parents, Leslie Lee Donelson and Lelia York Donelson; her sisters, Lee Ann James, Daphne Jean Drake and Marilyn James; and her brother, Donald Leslie Donelson.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2023 at the chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
