Marshall County’s Bass Fishing Team competed in a West Kentucky SAF Trail tournament on Saturday on Kentucky Lake. Marshall County teams took first and second with the duo of Maxson Mitchell and Hayden Gray coming away with the win with a 5-fish weight of 17 pounds 10 ounces.
Second place went to Steven Wilhelm and Tucker Travis with five fish weighing in at 14 pounds and 10 ounces. Wilhelm caught a fish weighing 4-13 to win the Big Bass award.
Carson Lovett and Drake Fooshee earned a top five spot with a fourth place finish. The duo weighed three fish at seven pounds.
