Shirley L. Hanson, 63 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at her residence.
Born Friday, September 2, 1960 in De Kalb, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Edward “Chet” Heiston and Fern Maki Heiston. She was a former production operator at Mattel in Murray, Kentucky. She was an avid tv watcher and loved animals but most of all, she loved her family.
Surviving are son, Jason Hanson (Ashley) of Benton, KY, daughter, Jessica Hanson of Westby, WI, sisters; Dee Baker of Paducah, KY and Kelley Heiston of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Macie Hanson, Aiden Hanson, Alexis Stellick and Jarren Schroeder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Jackie Hanson, and sister, Carol Chapman.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Newnum officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home and Crematory located at 211 W 5th Street Benton, KY 42025.
