Mr. Jackie Hoke, 80, of Murray, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Hoke was born on November 29, 1943 in Murray, KY to the late Carl and Anna Faye Hoke. Jackie was a 1961 graduate of Calloway County High school. After graduation he married the love of his life, Linda, and they were married for almost 55 years. Jackie spent many years farming and also retired from Murray Fire Department after 26 1/2 years of service. He has been a member of Scott’s Grove Baptist Church since 1949.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Linda Miller Hoke; a brother, Charles Hoke in addition to his parents.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his daughters, Dana Sheridan of Murray, Angie Matheny (John) of Murray; two sisters, Diana Bennett of Murray, Marie Keel Hardee (Ralph) of Lexington; a brother, Tommy Hoke (Pam) of Murray; two grandsons, Tyson Matheny (Caitlin), Ryne Sheridan, as well as two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Madelynn Matheny.
The funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Jackie Hoke is set for 2 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home. Stan Scott and Pat Scott will officiate and burial will follow at Scott’s Grove Cemetery.
His family welcomes visitors from 11 am – 2 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
